Vallenar to Los Vilos

Saturday 7th January

Over 500km planned for today to get us to Los Vilos just 200km from Santiago, stunning views again along the coast road, we all like Chile.

We are on the Pan-American Highway again the world’s longest ‘motorable road’, conditions are perfect to enjoy the road with a cool breeze from the sea &direct heat from the sunshine.

The sea is pretty clear around here with great fresh fish & seafood.

Whenever we meet other bikers it’s always time for a picture, these were locals.

The view over the beach from our Hotel, not bad for £15 a night.

Fishing boats in the harbour.

Enjoying a cold beer, there is a common theme here at most places we visit!, not as good as London Pride though.

Graffiti in a children’s playground, It’s a shame but I guess you get this everywhere?
