Today we decided to ride the ‘Bolivia’s Death Road’ made
famous by a ‘Top Gear’ special a couple of years ago, we set off about 7am but after 2 hours
we had still not found our way out of La Paz (in some situations Sat Navs are
not a great help). Having also hired 2 taxis we finally managed to get on the
right track but as we climbed to 15,000ft we encountered fog & hail, with
time running out we had to abandoned the trip & returned to our Hotel somewhat
disappointed.
