The Plan or is it a Dream

For many years I have wanted to ride in and around South America for six months or so. But that all changed when one of my biking buddies moved to British Columbia so I thought, may as well start there. As a result of telling some friends there are now three of us doing the trip. Terry Hartshorn and Dave Walker are the guys who decided to accompany me on this adventure.
We bought three ex French Gendarmerie BMW R65GS bikes for the trip. Mine pictured here when I got it home.

We start our trip by leaving the UK on the 7th. May 2011. no doubt that April will be a last minute panic despite the organising for many months ahead.

  1. Brilliant!!! I'm sure you guys are going to have an amazing adventure. Spot on bikes to do the trip on too. I wish you every success. Have a beer on me when you make it to a bar with a perfect sunset view.
    Cheers,

Go for it Bob, see you in Mexico. Keith
